Dallas Cowboys Season Review:

The one word that best describes the 2015 Dallas Cowboys Season would have to be Disaster. The Cowboys regular season record finished at 4-12. It was the team’s worst record since 1989, which was Jerry Jones’ first year ownership when America’s Team went 1-15.

The Cowboys invented new ways to lose football game during the 2015 NFL season.  No lead was ever safe and they couldn’t ever seem to climb back no matter measly the other teams lead was.   Tony Romo seemed to be made of paper as it seemed he was being injured every time he was hit.

The lone bright spot was Dallas Cowboys kicker Dan Bailey who continued to be known as the most accurate place kicker in NFL history and he was once again named to the Pro Bowl.  To be faire the Cowboys started the season 2-0 and were favorites to win the NFC east but starting week two when they lost both Tony Romo and Dez Bryant to significant injuries marked the beginning of the end for the season.

Dallas Cowboys Highlights:

  • Head coach Jason Garrett remains head coach signing a five-year $30 million contract
  • Defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli resigned to a three-year contract
  • Resigned wide receiver Dez Bryant to a five-year $70 million contract
