Dallas Cowboys Season Review:

Life now begins without future hall of fame Defensive End DeMarcus Ware whom they lost to free agency.  The move is now seen as a good thing for both parties.  Ware was able to resurrect his career while the cowboys moved on rather quickly finishing their first season without Ware at 12-4 for first place in the NFC East.

The off-season also saw the Cowboys lose linebacker Sean Lee for the season to a knee injury.  Everybody, including Jerry Jones were downplaying the season because of these reasons and also because the Cowboys passed on Johnny Football and instead chose Zach Martin.

The Cowboys made the playoffs for the first time since 2009 and won the wild card round against the Lions only to lose in the Divisional round to the Packers on what many consider the most controversial call in NFL History when Dez Bryant was denied a catch because of a review called by the Packers.

Dallas Cowboys Highlights:

  • Cowboys win NFC East with a record of 12-4
  • Cowboys elect to go with offensive lineman Zach Martin over Johnny Football
  • Dallas make playoffs for first time since 2009 season

Dez Bryant makes what appears to be a good catch against the Packers in the Divisional playoff game. The play was challenged by the packers and was reversed to an incomplete pass.
