Dallas Cowboys Season Review:

Yet another carbon copy season was in the Cowboys faith for the 2013 season with the team finishing at 8-8 and being eliminated from playoffs by an NFC east rival on the final day of the NFL regular season.  This time the Philadelphia Eagles would put the Cowboys season to rest.

Tony Romo once again showed that he was not a big game player by throwing key interceptions in key games, one of the worst coming in the last minute of the Packers game which the Cowboys led at halftime 26-3 only to lose 37-36.

The play calling of the Cowboys coaching staff was put into question many times during the season and once again fans were calling on Jerry Jones to fire himself as the General Manager.  Jerry World was crumbling…

Dallas Cowboys Highlights:

  • Cowboys went 5-1 against NFC east teams
  • Tony Romo showed signs of brilliance with Dez Bryant
  • Jason Witten solidified his future Hall of Fame first ballot status
